Project Tanzanite
Originally signed in 2020, Project Tanzanite is set to take her place as head of the fleet when she is delivered in 2026.
As the largest Amels built to date and currently the largest superyacht in build in the Netherlands, this is a Full Custom that embodies a strong heritage of yacht building excellence, renowned Naval Architecture by Damen Yachting and a stunning, 5-deck exterior design by Espen Øino.
Turning heads wherever she goes
The signature sharp, linear design is evident in Project Tanzanite’s uncluttered, airy spaces. The diagonal ventilation line midships, a fusion of necessity and aesthetics, symbolises our commitment to showcasing functional elements as design features. The large windows bring nature inside, nurturing an intimate connection to the sea, a characteristic set against a backdrop of expansive decks.

The future Amels flagship
As the future Amels flagship, this 120-metre incorporates the latest in design and technology features. To limit her impact on the environment, the superyacht will be powered by diesel electric propulsion powering the Kongsberg Elegance® pods. She is set to operate with the lowest levels of noise and vibration ever recorded on a yacht of this size. Her arrival at the Amels main outfitting facility in Vlissingen follows the spectacular launch which took place in May 2023.
Project Tanzanite is currently the largest superyacht in-build in the Netherlands and the largest Amels to be built to date.
