Built on the proven strength of Amels Limited Editions and centuries of Dutch craftsmanship, the Amels 80 represents a confident evolution of an iconic design. Subtle refinements give her distinctive exterior a fresh expression, while generous opportunities for customisation create a yacht that feels truly personal. Refined, recognisable and shaped by experience, the Amels 80 is designed for effortless living at sea and continues to evolve without losing sight of what makes her unmistakably Amels.
The Amels 80 offers different ways to create an interior that feels entirely your own. Owners can build on a design vision by one of our leading interior studios or, when joining the build at an early stage, appoint a designer of their choice to shape a more individual direction.
Whichever path is chosen, the Amels interior team works closely with the designer throughout, bringing creative ambition, technical expertise and exceptional craftsmanship together from the outset. The result is an interior that is coherent in every detail, distinctive in character and beautifully resolved.
“Named for both a musical interval and the geometry that defines the space, Octave is our interpretation of the Amels 80 Project Altitude. The octagon and figure of eight recur throughout, pairing faceted angles with soft, yielding curves in counterpoint. Corridors are shortened and angled, replacing predictable runs with transitions — architecture to move through, not simply past. Darker volumes anchor the lower registers while lighter spaces open upward across the Decks — contrasts calibrated to build tension and resolution. Materiality and detailing hold every element in tune.” — Jim Dixon
“Aboard, the world quietens. Light moves softly across curved forms, settling into a calm felt before it can be named. Soft architectural lines dissolve into open, flowing spaces, so that inside and outside feel like one continuous whole. Refined materials and natural textures — warm woods, soft stone, honest surfaces — reward closer attention, while restraint allows each one to speak for itself. A palette of soft, natural tones sets the mood throughout, creating the kind of calm that lets the everyday fall away.” — Paul Costerus
“This inspirational concept draws on the contrasted serenity of the Tuscan Alps, source of its Carrara marble, which works as a bridge between mountains and sea — its strength balanced by the soft movement of its veining. Open-grain European walnut and bleached teak ground the space, echoing the wooden tracks used to carry stone down the mountainside. Brushed white gold and stainless steel catch the light as quartz within marble. Furniture softens the stone’s rigidity, wrapped in fabrics, while concealed lighting reveals material and depth without competing.” — Ramon Alonso
