Double Honours at the World Superyacht Awards
Damen Yachting is proud to celebrate an exceptional achievement at the World Superyacht Awards, the superyacht industry’s most prestigious awards. During an exclusive ceremony in Venice, Italy, Amels Refit MOONSTONE was awarded the coveted Neptune trophy for Rebuilt Yachts, a remarkable distinction for her Owner and a powerful recognition of the vision, commitment and ambition behind her transformation. Adding to this success, Amels 80 PANGEA received a Judges’ Commendation in the Displacement Motor Yachts - 1,500GT to 2,499GT category, marking a second World Superyacht Awards distinction for our yachts that evening.
Amels Refit MOONSTONE Recognised for Extensive Rebuild
Amels Refit MOONSTONE stood out to the jury as “a big, big job, done extremely well,” with one judge noting that the additional transom length made the yacht’s original styling by Espen Øino even more elegant. This reflects the scale and precision of the transformation.

Judges’ Commendation for Amels 80 PANGEA
Amels 80 PANGEA received a Judges’ Commendation in the Displacement Motor Yachts - 1,500GT to 2,499GT category. The jury acknowledged PANGEA’s ability to combine practical ocean-going capability with a deeply personal design narrative, recognising her exceptional design, engineering and high level of personalisation in a series yacht.
